About the Bridge of Hope Children’s Home

Founded by the successful entrepreneur Subesh Ramjattan in 1998, Bridge of Hope was established with the mission of rescuing children in danger. Often taken from dire, life-threatening situations, neglected, abandoned children are delivered to Bridge of Hope to begin the long process of recovery.

Located at St James Village, Sangre Chiquito, the group home, which can house up to 40 kids at a time, has flourished over the years into a warm, safe environment, where the children grow to call home administrators Aunty and Uncle.

In addition to providing a stable loving environment to children and babies who may have never experienced a loving touch, Bridge of Hope aims to equip their wards with essential life skills, so that when they eventually leave, they are far better prepared to contribute positively to their communities, and achieve their desired potential.
